That awkward moment when you walk out of your bedroom in your pajamas and there’s a guest in your house.

I don't just want to be skinny; I want to be strong. I don't just want to fit into the small sizes; I want to be able to pull my own body up with one arm. I don't just want the boys to notice me; I want to be confident in the knowledge that I could give them a run for their money in a fitness challenge. I want to be the best that I can be.

I once lost sight of who I want to be; I thought I wanted to be the tiny girl, the frail one delicately sipping her Diet Coke and ordering a salad in a restaurant because nothing else on the menu is healthy. But that's NOT who I want to be. I want to be the fit girl gulping water because I just ran five miles. I want to be the girl actually eating at a restaurant because I know this is an occasional treat. I want to be the girl that makes other girls turn, stare, and wonder how in the HELL I got such an amazing body. I want to be strong, inside AND out.
